Project goal – to support development of WBL and apprenticeships in the Baltic States and to  enhance cooperation between 3 Baltic States in implementing VET reforms.

Project results:

The main problems addressed in this project are incomplete legal framework to accommodate WBL needs, insufficient WBL availability due to tradition of school-based VET, insufficient involvement and awareness of stakeholders, in particular employers.

The results of activities in Lithuania:

  • Background report on pilot of apprenticeship (lessons learnt);
  • Action plan for improvements for WBL development in Lithuania;
  • 6 round tables organised on different topics;
  • Media campaign on WBL benefits;
  • International Conference.
